Edward Hartman (The Netherlands) is an international sports administrator, senior martial sports instructor, and official with extensive experience in Kempo and sports governance. With a professional background spanning several decades as both a practitioner and sports administrator, he has contributed to the technical development, education systems, and organizational structures of Kempo at national and international level.

Active in martial sports since 1976, he has been a member of the International Kempo Federation (IKF) since 2003. He currently serves as a Member of the IKF Board, and within the federation holds key responsibilities as Chairman of the IKF Referee Committee, Team Leader of the Dutch National Kempo Team, and Official IKF Representative for the Netherlands, contributing to officiating standards, competition structures, and international coordination.

At national level in the Netherlands, Edward Hartman serves as a Board Member of the Federatie Oosterse Gevechtskunsten (FOG). He is also Chairman of the Martial sports Teacher Examination Committee of the FOG, supporting instructor qualification and certification processes. In parallel, he has been active as a Kempo Instructor and as a Staff Member of the Instructor Education Program at NOC, contributing to coach education and capacity-building initiatives.

Throughout his career, Edward Hartman has been actively involved in education, officiating, and good governance within martial sports.
