
Aurel “Mineru” Pîrtea (Romania) is a high-performance combat sports athlete and sports representative with extensive experience in Kempo and professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). He has represented Romania in numerous international competitions, building a long-standing career in elite combat sport at European and world level.
He is recognized as a multiple champion in Kempo and an accomplished professional MMA competitor, with participation in major international events and promotions. His competitive career reflects sustained involvement in high-performance sport, technical development, and international athlete representation.
Aurel Pîrtea holds the title of Master of Sport (Emeritus), awarded by the Romanian Ministry of Sport, in recognition of his sporting achievements and contribution to high-performance sport.
He currently serves as Director of the Elite Athletes Commission of the International Kempo Federation (IKF), where he supports elite athlete representation, performance-related initiatives, and the development of policies aimed at protecting athletes’ interests and promoting ethical standards in high-level competition.
