
Yamato Zaharia (Romania) is a sports professional and athlete representative actively involved in athlete-centered initiatives and institutional development within Kempo. He holds the title of Master of Sport (Emeritus), awarded by the Romanian Ministry of Sport, in recognition of his sporting achievements and contribution to high-performance sport.
He currently serves as Director of the Entourage Athletes Commission of the International Kempo Federation (IKF), where he supports athlete representation, communication, and the development of programs focused on safeguarding athletes’ interests and promoting ethical standards within the sport environment.
In parallel with his institutional role, Yamato Zaharia has represented Romania in international Kempo and MMA competitions, achieving multiple medals at European level and at World Kempo Championships, contributing to Romania’s international competitive presence.
Through his combined activity as an athlete and sports representative, he contributes to initiatives focused on education, athlete support, and sustainable sport development, reinforcing values of integrity, fair play, and respect at international level.
