The Disciplinary & Ethics Commission is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Federation’s ethical standards and disciplinary regulations, safeguarding integrity, fairness, and good governance within IKF.
1. Ethics & Conduct
- develops and oversees the Federation’s Code of Ethics and Conduct
- establishes standards regarding the conduct of athletes, officials, coaches and affiliated personnel
- promotes core values: integrity, respect, and fair play
2. Disciplinary Procedures
- reviews and adjudicates disciplinary violations, breaches of regulations and unethical behavior
- imposes sanctions in accordance with the Statutes and Regulations
3. Independence & Impartiality
- operates independently from executive structures
- guarantees the right to defense and fair procedures
- avoids conflicts of interest
4. Integrity & Prevention
- prevents corruption, match-fixing and abuse of power
- may cooperate with external sport integrity bodies
5. Recommendations & Policies
- formulates recommendations for improving regulations and internal procedures
- contributes to strengthening good governance
