The Fighting Kempo Committee is responsible for regulating, developing, and supervising Fighting Kempo competitions, ensuring fair play, athlete safety, and high competitive standards within the Federation.
1. Competition Regulations
- drafts, updates, and interprets the Fighting Kempo competition regulations
- establishes fighting formats, age and weight categories, scoring and victory criteria
- ensures the uniform application of rules at an international level
2. Athlete Safety
- defines standards related to protective equipment, bout duration and medical procedures
- cooperates with the Medical Commission and the Athletes’ Entourage Commission
- updates regulations to reduce the risk of injury
3. Competitive Development
- proposes measures to enhance the quality and attractiveness of bouts
- supports the transition toward professional Kempo
- aligns Fighting Kempo with international contact sports standards
4. Supervision & Refereeing
- cooperates with the Referees / Officials Committee
- validates refereeing procedures
- reviews special cases, appeals, and interpretations of the regulations
5. Events & Competitions
- contributes to the structure of international competitions
- provides technical support for amateur championships, leagues and professional events
- proposes innovations in competition formats
