The Gender Equality Committee is responsible for promoting gender equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination, ensuring equal opportunities and fair treatment for all participants within IKF.
1. Equality & Inclusion Policies
- develops and implements gender equality policies
- promotes balanced participation of women and men in competitions, leadership structures, commissions and working groups
2. Prevention of Discrimination & Abuse
- develops mechanisms for preventing gender-based discrimination, combating harassment and abuse
- cooperates with the Disciplinary & Ethics Commission
3. Equal Access to Opportunities
- monitors equitable access to competitions, educational programs, resources and funding
- formulates recommendations to remove structural barriers
4. Education & Awareness
- implements programs for information, training, awareness-raising
- promotes an organizational culture based on respect and inclusion
5. Monitoring & Reporting
- collects relevant data related to gender equality
- prepares reports and improvement proposals
- supports the Federation’s leadership in informed decision-making
