The International Events & Logistics Committee is responsible for the planning, coordination, and operational management of competitions, ensuring efficient logistics, standardized organization, and high-quality event delivery within IKF.

 

1. Competition Planning

  • develops and coordinates the international competition calendar
  • proposes the structure of amateur championships, cups, leagues and professional events
  • coordinates dates and venues with member federations

2. Organization & Logistics

  • supervises all logistical aspects of competitions, including sports halls and arenas, competition surfaces, technical equipment, designated areas for athletes, referees, and officials
  • establishes minimum organizational standards

3. Operational Procedures

  • develops competition organization manuals
  • defines clear workflows for registrations, accreditations, bout scheduling
  • ensures operational consistency across events

4. Inter-Commission Coordination

  • cooperates with the Traditional and Fighting Kempo Committees (rules and formats) and the Medical Commission
  • ensures the on-site implementation of regulations

5. Control & Evaluation

  • evaluates the quality of competition organization
  • prepares post-event reports
  • proposes continuous improvements for future events
