The Women in Sport Committee is responsible for promoting, supporting, and advancing the participation, development, and leadership of women in all areas of the sport within the IKF; it also contributes to promoting a modern and inclusive image of the sport of Kempo as an attractive and values-based sport, with an educational spirit, free from discrimination.
1. Visibility & Image
- contributes to promoting a modern and inclusive image of the sport of Kempo
- create content for promoting athletes, coaches, referees across social media platforms (websites, Tik-Tok, etc)
- create content for promoting IKF’s events
- create content for promoting the educational and ethical values of sport
- supports media campaigns and official events
- increases the visibility of female athletes and women leaders
2. Development of Female Participation
- promotes the growth of women’s participation in Kempo as athletes, coaches, referees, officials and sport leaders
- supports programs dedicated to girls and women
3. Leadership & Representation
- encourages women’s access to leadership positions, commissions and decision-making roles
- proposes policies for balanced representation
4. Dedicated Programs & Initiatives
- develops specific projects such as women’s competitions, camps, seminars, and mentoring programs
- cooperates with the Education & Development Committee
5. Support & Safe Environment
- promotes a sporting environment that is safe, respectful, free from discrimination or harassment
- cooperates with the Disciplinary & Ethics Commission and the Gender Equality Committee
