The Women in Sport Committee is responsible for promoting, supporting, and advancing the participation, development, and leadership of women in all areas of the sport within IKF.
1. Development of Female Participation
- promotes the growth of women’s participation in Kempo as athletes, coaches, referees, officials and sport leaders
- supports programs dedicated to girls and women
2. Leadership & Representation
- encourages women’s access to leadership positions, commissions and decision-making roles
- proposes policies for balanced representation
3. Dedicated Programs & Initiatives
- develops specific projects such as women’s competitions, camps, seminars, and mentoring programs
- cooperates with the Education & Development Committee
4. Support & Safe Environment
- promotes a sporting environment that is safe, respectful, free from discrimination or harassment
- cooperates with the Disciplinary & Ethics Commission and the Gender Equality Committee
5. Visibility & Image
- increases the visibility of female athletes and women leaders
- contributes to promoting a modern and inclusive image of the sport
- supports media campaigns and official events
